Clik here to view.New York City native Bob Natiello enjoyed a long career as a Madison Avenue ad executive. In addition to planning dozens of TV specials, he created national marketing campaigns for America’s leading corporate advertisers, heading the ad agency team that won a national EFFIE award for effective marketing of General Electric appliances.
He spends his Sedona retirement writing award-winning fiction and nonfiction. His current collection of 22 short stories and memoirs is available under the title, The Almost Perfect Crime and Other Award Winning Stories of New York. Five of the pieces were national Pushcart Prize nominees. “Dog Fight” earned first prize in Manhattan Media’s fiction-writing contest. It appeared in New York Press and West Side Spirit.
He originated and produced the first weekly real estate television series—Home Buying Made Easy—on a major NYC television channel.
He also originated and produced New York’s first mutual fund weekly radio series—All About Mutual Funds.
His economic essays have been published in REALTOR Magazine, one million circulation per issue.
His song lyrics have been heard nationwide on a gold single and a gold album (Polydor label), and on TV and radio commercials. His fiction writing earned him three successive invitations to Sirenland Writers Conferences in Positano, Italy.
He holds a BA from Villanova University, and is a recipient of the Villanova Medal for outstanding contributions to the University.
Wharton Magazine includes him in a select group of alumni, faculty and students who write regularly for the magazine’s online edition.
He served as a U.S. Marine Corps first lieutenant.
While president of Sedona Jazz on the Rocks, he headed the Southwest’s largest jazz festival, proceeds from which provided music scholarships for Arizona youth. He served as a trustee of Arizona Opera and as president of the Northern League of Arizona Opera.
His wife, Peggy, is a published author and Ph.D.
